The 3M Adaptic Non-Adherent Wound Dressing is a primary dressing composed of a cellulose acetate mesh.This net is impregnated with a special petrolatum emulsion.This impregnation allows for painless removal of the dressing and protects the newly formed tissue from trauma during dressing changes.The pore size of the dressing allows exudate to pass freely through to the secondary dressing.This minimizes the risk of exudate accumulation and wound maceration.

The bandage can be cut to size and can also be used for compression therapy.No prescription is required for this product.
