Areas of application

The ethacridine lactate solution 0.1% is used to prepare partial baths and compresses.It is used locally as an antiseptic.

Dosage instructions, type and duration of application

Unless otherwise prescribed, the ethacridine lactate solution 0.1% should be applied topically twice daily and left on for at least 30 minutes.There are no known contraindications to local use.

Side effects

Rarely, inflammatory reactions of the skin can occur.In isolated cases, facial swelling, hives (urticaria), headaches and cramps have been observed.

Interactions with other agents

The ethacridine lactate solution 0.1% should not be mixed with other solutions, otherwise flocculation may occur.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The solution should not be used on the breast during breastfeeding.

Ingredients

Every 100 grams of the solution contains 0.1 grams of ethacridine lactate and water.

Storage and preservation

The solution should be protected from light and kept out of the reach of children.After the expiry of the usability period, it may no longer be used.
