Artelac® Rebalance - relief and calming for dry eyes

Artelac® Rebalance is a gentle soother that moisturizes sensitive, irritated dry eyes twice as much with the moisturizers hyaluronic acid and PEG 8000. PEG (polyethylene glycol) is a long-chain molecule with good water-binding ability.The product contains the preservative system Oxyd®, which is converted into water, oxygen and salt on the surface of the eye.

Area of application

Artelac® Rebalance eye drops are used to moisten dry, burning and painful eyes.Internal factors such as age, hormonal changes during pregnancy and menopause or nerve paralysis after a stroke can lead to a decrease in tear production.The eye drops have a lasting effect on the unpleasant symptoms of chronic tear dysfunction.Due to the compatible formula, they are particularly suitable for long-term applications.

Mode of action

Artelac® Rebalance eye drops contain 0.15% hyaluronic acid plus PEG 8000, minerals and vitamins to stabilize the tear film.Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body with excellent viscoelastic properties that provide a gel-like protective film on the surface of the eye.The water-soluble polymer PEG 8000 (polyethylene glycol) has film-forming and lubricating properties.The eye drops increase the lubricating ability of the eye without affecting the optical qualities of the tear film.When it comes into contact with the surface of the eye, the OxydTM preservative system dissolves into the components oxygen, water and salt found in the natural tear film.

10 ml of Artelac® Rebalance eye drops contains 0.15% hyaluronic acid, 0.5% polyethylene glycol 8000, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, sodium chloride, vitamin B12, sterile water and boric acid.Oxide is used as a mild preservative that quickly converts into oxygen, water and salt ions on the surface of the eye.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Artelac® Rebalance eye drops can be used 3 to 5 times daily.If necessary, put 1 drop in each eye.Wash your hands before using the product.Before use, twist off the protective cap on the bottle and ensure that the drip tip does not come into contact with your fingers.Tilt your head back slightly and use one finger of your free hand to gently pull your lower eyelid down.Hold the bottle vertically over your eye with the dropper tip pointing down and gently squeeze the bottle to instill a drop into the eye.Then close your eye and move it slightly back and forth so that the drop is well distributed over the surface of the eye.After each use, turn the protective cap back onto the bottle.

Notes

The natural vitamin B12 contained in Artelac® Rebalance eye drops gives the liquid a light pink color, which dissolves immediately when instilled and blinked.No prescription is required for this product.

Application

Artelac® Rebalance is suitable for mild to moderate dry eye symptoms.It can be used by all occasional users, beginners and contact lens wearers.The duration of use is not limited.Contact lenses do not need to be removed when using Artelac® Rebalance.

Storage

Store Artelac® Rebalance protected from light at +2 °C to +25 °C.After first opening, the product should be used within 2 months.
