DICLO-ADGC® Pain Gel forte is used for the short-term local, symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain in acute strains, sprains or bruises as a result of blunt trauma.The gel offers effective pain relief when used twice a day and targets the painful area, for example on the back, muscles or joints.The tube's user-friendly closure allows for easy opening.Made in Germany, DICLO-ADGC® offers high quality at a low price.

DICLO-ADGC® Pain gel forte contains the active ingredient diclofenac.1 gram of the gel contains 23.2 milligrams of diclofenac-N-ethylethanamine, which is equivalent to 20 milligrams of diclofenac sodium.Other ingredients include carbomer 974P, cocoyl caprylocaprate, macrogol cetyl stearyl ether, thick paraffin, N-ethylethanamine, 2-propanol, propylene glycol, oleic acid, butyl hydroxytoluene, perfume oil and purified water.The perfume oil contains, among other things, citronellol, geraniol, benzyl alcohol, linalool, D-limonene, citral, farnesol, coumarin and eugenol.

Area of application

DICLO-ADGC® Pain Gel forte is suitable for adults and young people aged 14 and over.It is used for the local, symptomatic treatment of pain from acute strains, sprains or bruises resulting from blunt trauma.The gel is twice as strong as conventional gels containing the active ingredient diclofenac and offers a low risk of side effects compared to painkillers taken orally.It is easy to use and is almost completely absorbed into the skin.Thanks to its long-lasting effect, the gel only needs to be applied twice a day.

Dosage

DICLO-ADGC® Pain Gel forte is applied to the affected area of skin twice a day, preferably in the morning and evening.A cherry to walnut-sized amount is sufficient.Hands should be washed after application unless they are the area to be treated.The gel may be used under a non-occlusive dressing, but not under an airtight occlusive dressing.To do this, the gel should be allowed to dry on the skin before applying the bandage.The gel must not be applied or taken on eyes or mucous membranes and should only be used on intact, non-diseased and non-injured skin.

Without a doctor's recommendation, DICLO-ADGC® pain gel forte should not be used for longer than a week.If the symptoms do not subside after 3 to 5 days or worsen, you should see a doctor.No prescription is required for this product.

Intake

Before the first use, the tube should be opened as follows: First, the cap is unscrewed from the tube.To open the security seal, the cap is turned over and placed on the tube opening.The plastic seal is then removed by twisting.The gel is intended for use on the skin and is applied thinly to the affected areas of the body and rubbed lightly into the skin.After rubbing in the gel, hands should be washed, unless these are the area to be treated.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine.If you suffer from asthma, hay fever, swelling of the nasal mucous membranes or chronic bronchoconstrictive airway diseases, you are more at risk than other patients from asthma attacks, local swelling of the skin or mucous membranes or urticaria.In these patients, the medicine may only be used under certain precautionary measures and under direct medical supervision.The same applies to patients who are allergic to other substances.

If the gel is used over a large area and for a long period of time, systemic side effects may occur.Therefore, the gel should be used with caution in patients with impaired renal, cardiac or liver function, as well as in patients with active peptic ulcers in the stomach or duodenum.The medicine may only be applied to intact, not diseased or injured skin and must not come into contact with eyes or mucous membranes.After applying the gel, a permeable bandage can be used, but the gel should dry on the skin for a few minutes beforehand.An airtight occlusive dressing must not be used.

Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 to 5 days.Discontinue treatment if a rash occurs during use.Avoid direct sunlight or artificial tanning during and until two weeks after treatment. Make sure that children do not come into contact with rubbed areas of skin.The medicine must not be used in children and adolescents under 14 years of age.

The preparation has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.Do not use this medicine in the last trimester of pregnancy as it may harm the unborn baby or cause problems during birth.If you intend to become pregnant, as well as in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, the product should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Since diclofenac passes into breast milk in small quantities, the medicine should only be used under medical supervision during breastfeeding.If you are breastfeeding, do not use this product on the breast area or other large areas of skin or for a long period of time.
