DICLO-ADGC® Pain gel forte

DICLO-ADGC® Pain Gel forte is a non-prescription product that is used for the short-term local treatment of mild to moderate pain in acute strains, sprains or bruises resulting from blunt trauma.The gel contains the active ingredient diclofenac, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAR).It is applied to the affected skin area twice daily and provides effective pain relief.

The gel is particularly practical to use as it is easily absorbed into the skin and has a user-friendly closure.It is made in Germany and offers high quality at a low price. DICLO-ADGC® pain gel forte is suitable for adults and young people aged 14 and over.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in DICLO-ADGC® pain gel forte is diclofenac.1 g of the gel contains 23.2 mg of diclofenac-N-ethylethanamine, which is equivalent to 20 mg of diclofenac sodium.The other ingredients include carbomer 974P, cocoyl caprylocaprate, macrogol cetyl stearyl ether, thick paraffin, N-ethylethanamine, 2-propanol, propylene glycol, oleic acid, butyl hydroxytoluene, perfume oil and purified water.The perfume oil contains, among other things, citronellol, geraniol, benzyl alcohol, linalool, D-limonene, citral, farnesol, coumarin and eugenol.

Application and dosage

DICLO-ADGC® Pain Gel forte is applied to the affected area of skin twice a day, preferably in the morning and evening.A cherry to walnut-sized amount is sufficient.Hands should be washed after application unless they are the area to be treated.The gel may be used under a non-occlusive dressing, but not under an airtight occlusive dressing.It should only be applied to intact, non-diseased and non-injured skin.

The gel should not be used for more than a week without a doctor's recommendation.If the symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3-5 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications

DICLO-ADGC® Pain Gel forte must not be used if you are allergic to diclofenac or any of the other ingredients of the drug.The gel should also not be used if you have breathing problems such as asthma or bronchospasm caused by taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAR .It must not be used on open injuries, inflammations, infections of the skin, eczema or mucous membranes.Its use is also not permitted in the last trimester of pregnancy and in children and adolescents under 14 years of age.

Patient information

Before use you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist, especially if you suffer from asthma, hay fever, swollen nasal mucous membranes or chronic respiratory diseases.When applied to large areas or for long periods of time, the gel should be used with caution, especially in patients with impaired kidney, heart or liver function.The gel must not be applied to eyes or mucous membranes or taken.After application, you should avoid sunlight or artificial tanning.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you should consult your doctor before using this medicine.The gel must not be used in the last trimester of pregnancy.During breastfeeding, the gel should only be used under medical supervision and should not be applied to the breast area or large areas of skin.
