Mobilat® DuoAktiv pain gel

Mobilat® DuoAktiv pain gel is a product specifically developed to relieve pain and swelling.It contains a unique combination of two active ingredients that work together to provide rapid relief.The first active ingredient has a pain-relieving effect, while the second active ingredient reduces swelling and supports the regeneration of connective tissue.This speeds up the healing process for blunt injuries such as bruises, strains and sprains, such as sports injuries.

Area of application

Mobilat® DuoAktiv pain gel is used to support local treatment of painful blunt trauma such as strains, sprains or bruises.This is particularly useful for sports injuries.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients in this gel are chondroitin polysulfate and salicylic acid.Each gram of the gel contains 2 mg of chondroitin polysulfate and 20 mg of salicylic acid.In addition, the gel contains the following excipients: 2-aminoethanol, disodium edetat 2-water, isopropyl alcohol, PEG-20 glycerol laurate, polyacrylic acid, rosemary oil and purified water.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to chondroitin polysulfate from bovine trachea and salicylic acid.It should not be used on open injuries, inflammation or infections of the skin, as well as on eczema or mucous membranes.The gel must also not be used on the breastfeeding breast.

Dosage

The gel should always be used exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the gel is applied 2-3 times daily.The amount depends on the size of the area to be treated and is approximately 5-15 cm of gel strand, corresponding to approximately 2 g to 6 g of gel.The maximum total daily dose is 18 g of gel.The duration of use should generally not exceed 11 days unless the doctor decides otherwise.

Application

The gel is for external use only and must not be taken.It is applied thinly to the affected areas of the body and rubbed in lightly.Before applying a bandage, the gel should dry on the skin for a few minutes.The use of an occlusive dressing is not recommended.

Patient information

Particular caution is required in patients with previously damaged kidneys.The gel should also be used carefully in children and adolescents, as there is no sufficient experience for this age group.Care should be taken to ensure that children do not come into contact with the treated areas of skin.The gel has no known effects on the ability to drive or use machines.It should be kept out of the reach of children and not used after the expiry date.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy, the gel may only be used on small areas.It must not be used on the breastfeeding breast to avoid accidental ingestion by the infant.If large areas of skin are regularly treated, breastfeeding should be stopped early, as risks due to a lack of detoxification in newborns cannot be ruled out.

Notes

If symptoms last longer than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.The gel must not be used after the stated expiry date.
