The active ingredients in Allgäu mountain pine rubbing alcohol are mountain pine oil, racemic camphor and levomenthol.In addition, the product contains ethanol 96%, purified water, macrogol glycerol ricinoleate 60, isobornyl acetate, Spanish sage oil, rosemary oil, seven-herb oil R 041.923 and various dyes and fragrances with allergens such as 2-benzylidenheptan-1-ol, benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, (E)-benzyl cinnamate,Benzyl(2-hydroxybenzoate), Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, D-Limonene and Linalool.

Contraindications

Allgäuer Latschenkiefer rubbing alcohol must not be used in case of allergies to the ingredients, in children under 30 months, in pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as in certain diseases such as whooping cough, bronchial asthma, skin and childhood diseases with rash, open injuries, inflammation or infections of the skin, eczema, diabetic microangiopathy and peripheral venous or arterial insufficiency.

Application

Allgäu mountain pine rubbing alcohol should be applied thinly to the affected areas of the body once or several times a day and massaged in until dry.The solution is not intended to be taken orally and should not come into contact with mucous membranes, eyes or open skin.An airtight dressing should be avoided.It should not be used for longer than three days without medical advice.

Side effects

Possible side effects can include burns at the application site, coughing, increased bronchospasms, hypersensitivity reactions on the mucous membranes and skin, skin redness, itching, burning, skin rash, pustule and wheal formation as well as local allergic reactions.Throat spasm may occur in infants and children up to 30 months old.

Storage
