Directions for use of the article Magnerot N Magnesium Tablets: - This preparation is a mineral preparation for the treatment and prevention of magnesium deficiency states. - It can be used for neuromuscular disorders caused by magnesium deficiency. - The dosage depends on the severity of the deficiency and is 3 tablets 3 times a day for one week to replenish the magnesium stores, then 1-3 tablets 3 times a day as a maintenance dose. - The tablets should be taken before or with meals. - The intake should last at least 6 weeks, but can also be taken over a longer period. - In case of overdose, you should contact a doctor immediately. - There are contraindications in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, impaired kidney function, impaired heartbeat transmission and muscle weakness. - Side effects may include soft stools, gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhoea and fatigue. - The active substance consists of magnesium hydrogen phosphate-3-water, trimagnesium dicitrate-14-water and magnesium ion. - The preparation can be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding if there are no harmful effects. - Please refer to the package leaflet for further important instructions and information. - The product is manufactured by the company WOERWAG.
