Alsidiabet Cinnamon Catechins is a food for special medical purposes containing 3.7% catechins. It is used for the dietary management of elevated sugar levels in type II diabetes. Individuals with impaired sugar metabolism often have an impaired ability to absorb sugar from the blood into the cells, resulting in elevated blood sugar levels. A diet containing cinnamon extract catechins in combination with niacin and chromium was shown to improve long-term sugar levels. Alsidiabet Cinnamon Catechins also contains standardised catechins, niacin and chromium and is suitable for the dietary management of elevated blood glucose levels in type IIdiabetes. The recommended intake is 1 capsule daily during breakfast. The product should be used under medical supervision and is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. It is lactose-free, gelatine-free, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and virtually cumarin-free. It is manufactured by Alsitan GmbH.
