Summary: Gallith capsules are a traditional herbal medicinal product used to improve mild biliary complaints such as bloating and flatulence in known gallstones not requiring surgery. The main active ingredients are purified extract of ground ivy. The capsules are taken three times a day, 1-2 capsules at a time. There are no known interactions with other medicines or foods. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the product. Possible side effects include a temporary darkening of the stool and a mild laxative effect. If symptoms persist or side effects occur, a doctor should be consulted. The product should be stored away from moisture and should not be used after the date stated on the expiry date.
