Directions for use of the product Medyn Film-Coated Tablets: Medyn Film-Coated Tablets are a vitamin preparation and are used in cases of proven combined deficiency of vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid which cannot be corrected by dietary means. The dosage of Medyn Film-Coated Tablets is according to the package leaflet. The usual dose is 3 film-coated tablets, which can be taken throughout the day. They can be taken independently of meals. The duration of use is not limited. When storing Medyn Film-Coated Tablets, care should be taken to keep them out of the reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the pack and refers to the last day of the month indicated. Storage should be below 25 ºC, in the original packaging to protect the contents from light and moisture. The film-coated tablets contain 8.0 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), 0.20 mg folic acid and 0.01 mg cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). Other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, povidone K 30, crospovidone, magnesium stearate and ferric oxide. When taking Medyn Film-Coated Tablets, it should be noted that tingling and formication of the hands and feet may occur if daily doses of more than 50 mg of vitamin B6 are taken over a long period of time or if doses in the gram range are taken over a short period of time. In this case, a doctor should be consulted. Pregnant women and those who are breastfeeding should only use Medyn film-coated tablets after consulting their doctor.
