Application

Rub in

Adults and teenagers aged 12 and over rub 3-5 cm of Bronchoforton ointment on the chest or back 2 to 4 times a day.

For children aged 6-12, rub 1-3 cm of Bronchoforton ointment 2 to 4 times a day.

For children 4-6 years old, use 1-2 cm of ointment 2 to 4 times a day.

Inhale

Pour 0.6 liters of hot water over the ointment strand and inhale the rising vapors through your mouth and nose for about 10 minutes.(Be careful, the vapors are hot at first!)

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: Use a 3-5 cm long strand of ointment 2 to 4 times daily.

For children aged 6 to 12 years: Use a 1-3 cm long strand of ointment 2 to 4 times a day.

Inhalation is not recommended for children under 6 years of age!

Notes

Contains stearyl alcohol.After using Bronchoforton® ointment, hands should be cleaned thoroughly.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.This product is not suitable for children under 4 years.This ointment must not get into the eyes and must not be used on the face or mucous membranes.This product must not be used during breastfeeding or in children with cramps.

Dosage

Recommended use of Bronchoforton cold ointment with eucalyptus: You can rub Bronchoforton cold ointment with eucalyptus on your chest, inhale it or dissolve it in a bath.

Intake

Application on the skin (rub): Rub chest and back.

Inhalation with steam: Pour 0.6 liters of hot water over the ointment strand and inhale the rising vapors through your mouth and nose for about 10 minutes (be careful, the vapors are hot at first!).Do not let children inhale without supervision!Be careful when handling hot water!When inhaling with an inhaler, please follow the operating instructions!

Patient information

If symptoms last longer than a week, if they worsen or if shortness of breath, fever or bloody or purulent sputum occur, a doctor should be consulted.This ointment must not be used/rubbed on the face.When using this preparation, contact of the drug with the eyes should be avoided, otherwise eye irritation may occur.The ointment should not be used on mucous membranes or irritated skin.After use, your hands must be cleaned thoroughly.

Its use is not recommended for children aged 30 months to 4 years as there is insufficient experience.For general safety reasons, only children aged 6 years and over and adults should use this preparation as steam inhalation.Do not let children inhale without supervision!In rare cases, inhalation of concentrated vapors of essential oils causes respiratory arrest in infants and young children, presumably due to spasms of the glottis.Care should be taken to ensure that children cannot come into contact with the rubbed areas of skin with their hands.

The effects on the ability to drive and use machines have not been studied.
