Summary: Hydrogen peroxide solution 3% is used for cleaning wounds, as an oral disinfectant for bad breath and for rinsing in cases of bleeding gums and inflammation of the oral mucosa. It is recommended to dilute the solution before use and not to use it in closed body cavities. The solution contains hydrogen peroxide solution 30%, phosphoric acid 10% and purified water. Versatile application possibilities, e.g. small wounds, already successfully tested for herpes. I use it as a mouthwash (diluted with water), it has an antibacterial and antiviral effect and is much cheaper than conventional mouthwashes. My dentist also uses hydrogen peroxide.
