Magnesium Verla N Coated Tablets are a medicinal product for the treatment of magnesium deficiency. They contain magnesium citrate and magnesium bis(hydrogen-L-glutamate) and are used to treat a proven magnesium deficiency that causes neuromuscular disorders such as calf cramps. The lozenges are enteric-coated, easy to swallow and can be dosed individually. The recommended dosage is 1-3 tablets, 3 times a day before meals. The duration of use is usually 4 weeks, but can vary according to need. Side effects may include soft stools and diarrhoea. The medicine is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to ingredients and severe renal impairment. However, pregnant and breastfeeding women can use the medicine without concern.
