Magnesium Verla N Coated Tablets are enteric-coated tablets used for the treatment of magnesium deficiency states requiring therapy. They contain magnesium citrate and magnesium bis(hydrogen-L-glutamate) as active ingredients. Neurological disorders such as calf cramps and muscle tension can be caused by a magnesium deficiency. In addition to a balanced diet, taking Magnesium Verla N Coated Tablets can help to compensate for the deficiency. The dosage depends on the degree of deficiency and should be clarified with a doctor or pharmacist beforehand. The tablets are taken unchewed with liquid, preferably before meals. A treatment period of four weeks is recommended. Magnesium Verla N Coated Tablets are usually well tolerated, but may cause soft stools or diarrhoea. The medicine should not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients or if there is severely impaired kidney function. Pregnant and breastfeeding women can use the medicine according to current knowledge. It is important to read the package leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
