Directions for use of the article Vitamin B2 axicur 10 mg Tablets: Vitamin B2 axicur 10 mg tablets contain the active ingredient riboflavin (vitamin B2) and are used to treat clinical vitamin B2 deficiencies that cannot be compensated for nutritionally. The recommended dose is 1 to 2 tablets (corresponding to 10 mg to 20 mg riboflavin) daily. The tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid during or after meals. They should be taken as long as the requirement cannot be covered by a suitable diet. Possible side effects are not known at present. A yellowing of the urine after intake is due to the vitamin B2 content and is harmless. The medicinal product should be protected from heat and moisture and stored in the dark. Children should not have access to it. People with hypersensitivity to the ingredients, especially lactose, should not use the product. No dosage information is available for pregnant and breastfeeding women or for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
