The extra-thick polyurethane foam reliably cushions the wound and relieves pressure from the heel to the Achilles tendon. The foam dressing allows effective vertical absorption of exudate, even highly viscous exudate. Superabsorbents bind the exudate securely inside the product, minimising skin maceration. At the same time, high water vapour permeability ensures that exudate is effectively managed. The gentle adhesion of the silicone film to the wound contact side ensures maximum protection of the surrounding skin and atraumatic dressing changes.
