Instructions for use for NYSTATIN acis mouth gel, 50 g

"Nystatin acis oral gel is a yeast-specific antifungal agent for the treatment of nystatin-sensitive yeast infections of the oral cavity (oral thrush). It contains the active ingredient nystatin and is used for symptoms such as a white coating on reddened oral mucosa. The gel is taken 3-6 times a day and left in the mouth for a few minutes before swallowing. In addition, affected areas can be treated with a cotton swab coated with gel. The shelf life is 4 weeks after opening. Some side effects may occur, such as gastrointestinal complaints and skin reactions. Overdose is not known to occur. The gel should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients and in infants under 4 months of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women may use it after weighing the benefits/risks.
