Leukomed^® T is a versatile wound dressing that is used both to fix medical devices and to protect wounds.The waterproof and germ-proof film securely fixes catheters, cannulas and wound dressings and protects wounds that no longer secrete from friction and shear forces.This also relieves pressure on skin areas at risk of pressure sores.The film's high water vapor permeability prevents moisture accumulation, which reduces the risk of maceration.The highly flexible and waterproof film offers a high level of comfort and adapts to joints and extremities like a second skin.

Leukomed^® T is sterile and offers reliable protection against bacteria and viruses.The rounded corners ensure secure fixation, and the transparency allows for continuous inspection of the wound or fixation.The intuitive application system with the red stripe ensures quick and easy application, even with gloves.

The bandage consists of a transparent and extra-thin polyurethane film that is fully coated with polyacrylate adhesive.

Areas of application

Leukomed^® T is used for the waterproof fixation of intravenous catheters, both peripherally and centrally.It protects non-secreting wounds and serves as a secondary dressing for weakly secreting wounds.It also supports the prophylaxis of skin areas at risk of pressure sores.

Duration of application

The duration of use is up to 7 days.
