Area of application

This medicine is used to treat flatulence.It helps with excessive gas formation and gas accumulation in the gastrointestinal area, which can lead to, among other things, meteorism, flatulence, aerophagia or Roemheld syndrome.It can also be used before diagnostic examinations in the abdominal area to reduce gas shadows in x-ray images.The preparation is also suitable after operations in which increased gas formation occurs.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The chewable tablets contain 85 mg simeticone and 80 mg dimeticone as active ingredients.The following excipients are also included: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose 1-water, levomenthol, magnesium stearate (vegetable), silicon dioxide and 413 mg sorbitol.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive or allergic to simeticone or any of the other ingredients.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as directed.Unless otherwise prescribed, take 1 to 2 chewable tablets with or after meals and chew them thoroughly.If necessary, you can also take 1 to 2 chewable tablets before bedtime.

The duration of application depends on the course of the symptoms.The chewable tablets can be taken over a longer period of time if necessary.Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you think the effect is too strong or too weak.
