Directions for use of the article Realgar D 30 Ampoules Important information: Realgar, liquid dilutions for injection. If there is no improvement of the symptoms during the use of the medicinal product, seek medical advice. Contraindications: None known. Precautions for use What should be taken into account in children? There is insufficient documented experience on the use of this medicinal product in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age. What must you take into account during pregnancy and breast-feeding? Like all medicines, Realgar Liquid Dilutions for Injection should only be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding after consulting a doctor. Interactions with other medicinal products: None known. Dosage: The potency level suitable for the treatment is selected by the doctor according to the respective clinical picture and prescribed individually for the patient. Method of administration The subcutaneous injection is usually administered into the thigh or the outer side of the upper arm or into the abdominal region. After cleaning the injection site (e.g. by rubbing with 70% alcohol), form a skin fold and insert the injection needle at an angle. Pull back the injection needle slightly. If blood appears, a blood vessel has been hit. In this case, repeat the injection at another site. If no blood appears, inject slowly, then pull out the needle and press briefly on the puncture site with a swab. In any case, it is recommended to learn the injection technique from a person experienced in it. Duration of use: The duration of treatment requires consultation with the doctor.
