Cuticell® Contact is a sterile primary dressing that is particularly suitable for lightly to heavily exuding wounds.This dressing adheres to the wound area but does not come off on the moist wound, thanks to Siltec® technology.The wound exudate can pass freely through the silicone-coated dressing, while at the same time the absorbent secondary dressing is prevented from growing into the wound.This allows the secondary dressing to be renewed without traumatizing the wound, which leads to an undisturbed healing process and a high level of therapeutic safety.

Cuticell® Contact consists of a thin, elastic polyurethane film that is coated on one side with soft silicone.

Areas of application:

Cuticell® Contact is suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, such as abrasions, cuts and lacerations, first and second degree burns, blistering, split skin donor sites, leg ulcers and decubitus ulcers.In addition, Cuticell® Contact can be combined with antiseptics.

Duration of application:

The duration of use of Cuticell® Contact depends on the condition of the wound, particularly the amount of exudate, and the choice of secondary dressing.The bandage can usually be worn for several days.
