Cuticell Contact is a sterile primary dressing that is particularly suitable for weakly to heavily exuding wounds.This dressing adheres to the wound environment, but not to the moist wound, which is made possible by Siltec technology.This technology allows wound exudate to pass freely through the silicone-coated dressing while preventing the absorbent secondary dressing from growing into the wound.This means that the secondary dressing can be renewed at any time without traumatizing the wound.This promotes an undisturbed healing process and offers a high level of safety in therapy.

Cuticell Contact consists of a thin, elastic polyurethane film that is coated on one side with soft silicone.The formula is latex-free and is not made with natural rubber latex.

Areas of application

Cuticell Contact is suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, such as leg ulcers, pressure sores, surgical wounds, blistering, first and second degree burns, split-thickness skin donor sites as well as cuts, abrasions and skin tears.In addition, Cuticell Contact can be used as a wound contact layer in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) and combined with antiseptics.

Duration of application

The duration of use of Cuticell Contact is up to 14 days, depending on the wound condition, such as the amount of exudate, and the choice of secondary dressing.
