Bombastus thyme medicinal tea

The medicinal tea consists of dried herb of real thyme (Thymus vulgaris).The essential oils of thyme loosen mucus in the respiratory tract and have an antispasmodic effect.This tea is suitable for symptoms of bronchitis and catarrh of the upper respiratory tract.No prescription is required for this product.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk several times a day: boiling water (approx. 150 ml) is poured over 1 thyme infusion bag and allowed to steep for about 10 to 15 minutes.Always take thyme exactly according to the instructions in this leaflet.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Notes

If your symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 7 days, you should definitely see a doctor.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Important notes

This medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to thyme.Particular caution is required when using this medicine if the symptoms described in Chapter 1 increase.In this case, ask your doctor or pharmacist.Tea infusions should always be prepared with boiling water.Making tea with warm water is not sufficient.

Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using or have recently used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.There are no known interactions.

There are no sufficient studies on the use of thyme during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Therefore, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this tea during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

There is no experience with regard to impairment of the ability to drive or use machines.

Side effects

Like all medicines, thyme can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.There are no known side effects.

Storage

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.You may no longer use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the outer carton after “Use by”.The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.Storage conditions: Store in the original packaging and store away from light and moisture.
