Instructions for use of arnica tincture

Arnica tincture is a herbal medicine that is used externally for various complaints.It contains tincture of arnica flowers, which are dissolved in ethanol 70% (V/V) as an extractant.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Arnica tincture is used externally for the consequences of injuries and accidents such as bruises, sprains, bruises, bruises and edema as a result of a bone fracture.It can also be used for rheumatic muscle and joint problems, furunculosis, inflammation as a result of insect bites and superficial phlebitis.

Composition

100 g arnica tincture contains 100 g tincture from arnica flowers (1:10 [Verhältnis Droge zu Auszugsmittel]).The extractant is ethanol 70% (V/V).

Application instructions

The arnica tincture is diluted 3 to 10 times with water to prepare compresses.It should not be used orally.If symptoms persist for longer than 1 to 2 weeks, are unclear or new, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications

Arnica tincture should not be used if you are hypersensitive to arnica and other daisy plants such as chamomile, marigolds and yarrow.There are no sufficient studies on its use during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age.Therefore, the tincture should not be used by these groups of people.

Precautions

The arnica tincture must not be placed in the eyes, on mucous membranes or in open wounds.Due to the alcohol content, frequent use on the skin may cause irritation, inflammation and skin dryness.

Side effects

Prolonged use on damaged skin can cause skin inflammation with swelling and/or blistering.If side effects occur, treatment should be stopped immediately and the affected areas rinsed thoroughly with water.A doctor should then be consulted.

Storage

The arnica tincture should be tightly closed, protected from light and kept out of the reach of children.After the expiry date, the medicine may no longer be used.
