Agnus castus STADA® contains:

The active ingredient is chaste mud fruit dry extract.1 film-coated tablet contains 4 mg dry extract from chaste mud fruits (7-13:1).Extractant: Ethanol 60% (m/m).

The other ingredients are carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A) (Ph.Eur.), microcrystalline cellulose, glucose syrup, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 4000, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.), corn starch, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide (E171), iron (III) oxide (E172).

Note for diabetics: 1 film-coated tablet contains 0.16 g carbohydrates (glucose syrup, lactose monohydrate).

Contraindications

The preparation must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to chaste mud fruit extracts, if you have pituitary tumors (tumors of the pituitary gland) or if you have mammary carcinoma (breast cancer).

Dosage

Take 1 film-coated tablet once a day.Agnus castus STADA® should, if possible, always be taken at the same time of day.The score line is only used to divide the tablet to make it easier to swallow and not to divide it into equal doses.

For a reliable effect, Agnus castus STADA® should be taken over at least 3 monthly cycles.

Pregnancy
