Eusovit 201 mg soft capsules contain the active ingredient DL-alpha-tocopherol acetate, which is known as vitamin E. It is used to treat vitamin E deficiency, but not for cases where there is impaired absorption of vitamin E from the intestine. The medicine should not be taken if there is an allergy to DL-alpha-tocopherol acetate or any of the other ingredients. Special precautions should be observed when taking with certain anticoagulant medicines and in the case of concomitant vitamin K deficiency. During pregnancy and lactation, the daily recommended amounts of vitamin E should be considered. The dosage is usually one softgel once daily. No special precautions are required when operating machinery. Possible side effects include a decrease in thyroid hormone levels in the blood and gastrointestinal discomfort at high doses. It is recommended to report side effects to the doctor or pharmacist. The medicine should be kept out of reach of children and away from light and heat.
