Summary: ASS Dexcel 100 mg tablets contain the active substance acetylsalicylic acid, which prevents platelets from clumping together and thus prevents the formation of blood clots. This medicinal product is used in various fields of application, such as the symptomatic treatment of unstable angina pectoris and acute myocardial infarction, reinfarction prophylaxis, prevention of transient ischaemic attacks (TIA) and cerebral infarctions after precursor stages, as well as after operations on arterial blood vessels. However, it is not suitable for the treatment of painful conditions. The recommended dosage varies depending on the area of application. The medication should be taken after a meal with sufficient liquid. The duration of treatment should be discussed with the attending physician.
