Antistax extra vein tablets contain the active ingredient dry extract of red vine leaves and are used to treat symptoms of diseases of the leg veins (chronic venous insufficiency). These include symptoms such as pain, a feeling of heaviness, varicose veins, night cramps in the calves, itching and swollen legs. The tablets work by repairing, strengthening and protecting the vein walls, improving microcirculation and oxygen supply and relieving pain in the legs. The active ingredient of the red vine tree also reduces oedema and inflammatory processes in the veins. The tablets are taken once a day before breakfast with liquid and are well tolerated. It is recommended to take them for at least three months, as venous insufficiency is a chronic disease. There are no known overdose-related side effects. Antistax extra vein tablets are intended for adults and should not be used by people under 18 years of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use.
