Directions for use of the article Hepathromb Creme 60.000: Hepathromb 60.000 is a cream with the active substance heparin sodium. It is used for the supportive treatment of acute swelling after blunt injuries (such as sprains, bruises) and superficial phlebitis, if this cannot be treated with compression therapy. It is applied externally to the skin. The recommended dose is 2 to 3 times a day, and the cream should be applied evenly to the affected area. In case of intolerance reactions, the preparation should be discontinued. The duration of use is determined by the doctor and is usually no longer than 10 days. Side effects are rare and usually mild. However, allergic reactions may occur. People with hypersensitivity to heparin sodium or the other ingredients should not use the preparation.
