Directions for use of the article Hepathromb Creme 60.000: Hepathromb 60.000 cream contains the active substance heparin sodium and is used for the supportive treatment of acute swelling following blunt injuries and superficial phlebitis, provided these cannot be treated with compression therapy. The medicinal product is applied externally and should be applied to the affected skin area. The recommended dose is 2-3 times a day. The duration of use should be determined in consultation with a doctor or pharmacist and should not normally exceed 10 days. The medicine contains cetylstearyl alcohol and should not be applied to open wounds or weeping eczema. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor or pharmacist before use.
