Secura Irritation-Free Skin Protection Applicator is a sterile, irritation-free skin protection product that forms a thin waterproof protective film on the skin when applied. This film protects both intact and damaged skin from irritation by liquids and trauma when removing adhesive dressings. The skin protector provides a long-lasting barrier of up to 4 days and is therefore also suitable for longer dressing application times. The alcohol-free formula reduces the likelihood of burning when applied to pre-damaged skin. The skin protector is particularly skin-friendly as it is latex-free, fragrance-free and preservative-free. It can be used on adults, children and infants from the first month of life. In addition, it can also be used as wound edge protection during negative pressure therapy. Areas of use include protection against irritation from fluids in incontinence, protection of wound edges from exudate, prevention of skin irritation from adhesives and friction, and protection from trauma when removing adhesive dressings.
