Instructions for use for Pancreatin 20000 Laves micro gastro-resistant capsules, 50 pcs
Description of the drug
Pancreatin 20,000 Laves® Micro is a medicine that contains digestive enzymes from the porcine pancreas, also known as pancreas powder or pancreatin. This preparation is used to replace digestive enzymes in digestive disorders caused by inadequate or missing pancreatic function, a so-called exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. The microencapsulation of the enzymes protects them from stomach acid and enables them to be easily distributed in the chyme. It also offers the option of opening the capsule and swallowing the contents whole with plenty of water if swallowing the capsule is difficult.
Area of application
This medicine is used to treat exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. In this condition, the pancreas does not produce enough enzymes to digest food. The preparation can be used in children, adolescents and adults.Treatment improves symptoms such as greasy stools, abdominal pain, flatulence and stool frequency (diarrhea or constipation). No prescription is required for this product.
