The Retterspitz zinc ointment, formerly known as healing ointment ST, is an effective means of supporting wound healing.The main active ingredient, zinc oxide, has an antiseptic effect and creates a covering, protective layer on the skin.This layer absorbs liquid and does not penetrate the skin, which is particularly advantageous for weeping wounds.The ointment can also be used as a preventive measure against diaper rash.

Application

The ointment is applied to the affected skin areas once or several times a day and covered with gauze.

Ingredients

100 Grams of the ointment contains 10 grams of zinc oxide.Other ingredients include cetostearyl alcohol, paraffin oil, white petroleum jelly and wool wax alcohols.
