Scope of application

Granulox is an oxygenating spray used to treat chronic wounds.These include diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, arterial ulcers and mixed ulcers.It also supports the secondary healing of surgical wounds and pressure sores, as well as the healing of scabbed and infected wounds.The spray releases highly pure hemoglobin, which binds oxygen from the environment and diffuses through the wound exudate.This provides topical oxygenation to the wound base, promoting wound healing and improving patient outcomes.

Granulox is easy to use and is suitable as a portable addition to standard wound care.For optimal results, it should be used when changing dressings, but at least every three days.Studies show that the use of Granulox results in shortened healing time, reduction in wound pain, and overall cost savings for healthcare providers compared to standard care.Twice as many chronic wounds healed after 8 to 16 weeks.Diabetic foot ulcer healing time is 50% shorter and treatment costs are at least 40% lower than standard treatments.In addition, there is 99% less wound plaque in chronic wounds after 4 weeks compared to 33% with standard treatments.

Granulox is a hemoglobin spray that is not sterilized.No prescription is required for this product.

Precautions

Granulox should not be used in patients or users with known hypersensitivity to the materials or components of the product.Some wound antiseptics may make Granulox less effective.Therefore, after applying an antiseptic, the wound area should be thoroughly rinsed with physiological saline.Granulox should not be used with occlusive plastic films and hydrocolloids.Hypersensitivity reactions to any of the ingredients may occur.If your symptoms worsen or you develop side effects, stop using Granulox and seek medical attention.

Warnings

Granulox should not be used in pregnant women.Granulox should not be used concomitantly with locally acting medications such as antibiotics, as no data on possible interactions with hemoglobin are available.
