Information for use with the article Cationorm MD sine: Cationorm MD sine are sterile hypotonic unpreserved eye drops in the form of an emulsion. They contain paraffin oil, glycerol, tyloxapol, poloxamer 188, tris-hydrochloride, tromethamine, cetalkonium chloride and purified water. These eye drops support all three layers of the tear film, providing long-lasting wetting and moisturisation of the ocular surface. They are recommended for the relief of symptoms such as stinging, itching, burning or foreign body sensation in the eyes and can be caused by external factors such as air conditioning, wind, air pollution, smoke, dust, VDU work, contact lens wear or refractive corneal surgery. Cationorm MD sine should not be used if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or have other eye conditions. The recommended dose is 1 drop in each eye 1-4 times daily. Use by removing the locking ring of the cap, opening the bottle and instilling a drop into the eye while gently pulling down on the eyelids. The bottle should be closed tightly after each use and the product should not be used for more than three months after opening. Possible side effects include a slight eye discomfort. The bottle should be stored at room temperature and the product cannot be used after the expiry date. Cationorm Md sine eye drops (pack size: 10 ml) are used to moisten and wet the surface of the eye and to protect the tear film from excessive evaporation. They are particularly suitable for people who wear contact lenses, work a lot at the computer or suffer from dry eyes. The eye drops are non-preserved and due to their unique composition they support all three layers of the tear film. They provide fast and long-lasting relief from the symptoms of dry eyes. The active ingredients are paraffin, viscous, tyloxapol and glycerol. Other ingredients are poloxamer 188, trometamol hydrochloride, trometamol, cetalkonium chloride and water for injection. The recommended dosage is 1 drop in each eye 1-4 times daily. The application is easy and practical as the vial is handy and the dropper allows an optimal dosage. The eye drops should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
