Instructions for use for NYSTATIN acis paste, 20 g
Directions for use of the article Nystatin acis Paste Nystatin acis paste is used for the treatment of skin infections with nystatin-sensitive yeasts such as napkin dermatitis. The paste is applied thinly to the affected areas of skin, 2 - 4 times a day. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks. If you have any questions about the application or if you are unsure, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist. The paste contains the active ingredient nystatin and other ingredients such as zinc oxide. Nystatin works against yeast fungi and damages their cell membrane. The drug is well tolerated and resistance is not known. The preparation must not be used if you are hypersensitive to nystatin or any of the other ingredients. If hypersensitivity occurs, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Use in very underweight and immature premature infants is not recommended due to the high osmolarity of nystatin. During pregnancy and lactation, the drug can be used as nystatin in therapeutic doses is hardly absorbed and does not cross the placental barrier. Please note that this summary is not a complete package leaflet. Read the full package leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you experience any side effects or are unsure.Medicines Reviews

The paste is great. No questionable additives. Which cause further problems. Nystatin has been tried and tested for a long time. Had to have the ointment because of a crotch rash after wearing BioBinden with wings for the first time. Product Mylilly . Although it says on the label that it is dermatologically tested. Just advertising? I've never had anything like it. I have been using the ointment for 14 days. Got better straight away. PS: the dermatologist wanted to prescribe me a different product, which is covered by the health insurance/family doctor contracts. It contains questionable ingredients: titanium dioxide, butylhydroxytoluene, fluprednidene. After finding this out at the pharmacy, I preferred to be prescribed Nystatin acis paste. The dermatologist was worried that this would get her into trouble and gave me a private prescription. I would really rather do that than apply cream with questionable additives.
