Instructions for use for IMUPRET N drops, 50 ml

Imupret N drops are a traditional herbal medicine for use at the first signs of and during a cold, such as a scratchy throat, sore throat, difficulty swallowing and an irritated cough. The drops contain a mixture of marshmallow root, oak bark, chamomile flowers, dandelion herb, horsetail herb, yarrow herb and walnut leaves. The recommended dosage is 10 drops for children aged 2-5 years, 15 drops for children aged 6-11 years and 25 drops for adolescents aged 12 years and over and adults, in each case up to 6 times a day. Prolonged use should not exceed 2 weeks. The medicine should be left in the mouth for some time before swallowing and can also be taken with liquid. There is hypersensitivity in certain allergies and use is not advised in pregnancy and breastfeeding. For more information, read the package leaflet or consult a doctor or pharmacist.

I have been using these drops for 25 years. I always have them in stock. They are in my first-aid kit every time I travel. At the first scratch, I take the drops immediately and rinse my mouth and gargle with them for about 30 seconds. For day trips, I fill a nasal spray bottle washed out with boiling water with the drops. This allows me to spray about 10 puffs comfortably into my mouth and throat, which stops the coughing and can almost always prevent bronchitis. The drops used to be called Tonsilgon.

Imupret N drops are very practical during the cold season. At the slightest sign of a cold, I take the drops as described in the package leaflet and I usually feel better the next day. I am very enthusiastic and have been able to ward off infections easily during the cold season.
