VISMED® GEL MULTI - for dry eyes

Dry eyes (Latin: “Keratoconjunctivitis sicca”) often arise from increased evaporation of the tear film as a result of a disruption of the final layer of the tear film.In addition to dry eyes, those affected often suffer from red and irritated eyes.Increased tear flow and unpleasant itching or burning in the eyes can also occur.

Wetting solutions with hyaluronic acid have proven effective for treatment. VISMED® GEL MULTI impresses with its pleasantly liquid consistency, so that the gel feels silky soft on the eye without causing visual impairment.

Intensively moistens the eyes day and night with a synthetic tear fluid that contains hyaluronic acid and important electrolytes.The product is free of preservatives and compatible with all contact lenses.

With 0.3% hyaluronic acid, a substance produced naturally in the body that is also contained in the tear film.Hyaluronic acid ensures that moisture is stored and nutrients can be transported.It is therefore often used in ophthalmology to treat dry eyes.

Area of application

VISMED® GEL MULTI Eye drops can be used for dry, red and burning eyes.This can be caused by dust, conditioned air, wind, smoke, cold or prolonged screen time or prolonged contact lens wear.

VISMED® GEL MULTI eye drops contains 3 mg hyaluronic acid.Other ingredients include sodium salt, water for injections, magnesium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride and calcium chloride.

Contraindications

Please do not use VISMED® GEL MULTI eye drops if you have a known intolerance to the ingredients.

Dosage

To use, twist off the cap and tilt your head back.Hold the opened bottle over the eye to be treated and pull the lower eyelid down with your other hand.Gently squeezing the bottle releases a drop of solution.You can drip 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac as needed.The solution is distributed by blinking your eyes.

Notes

VISMED® GEL MULTI Eye drops have a shelf life of 3 months after opening the bottle.Please store the bottle at 2-25 degrees Celsius.No prescription is required for this product.

VISMED® GEL MULTI Application

Unscrew the cap, tilt your head back and hold the opening over the eye to be treated.Use the index finger of one hand to pull the lower eyelid down.Gently squeezing the bottle releases a drop of the VISMED® GEL MULTI solution.Unless otherwise recommended, drip 1-2 drops of VISMED® GEL MULTI into the conjunctival sac as needed.Do not bring the dropper tip into contact with your eye or touch it with your fingers.When you blink, the solution is distributed and forms a transparent and durable layer of liquid on the surface of the eye.

Ingredients

1 ml solution contains 3.0 mg sodium hyaluronate as well as sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride and water for injections.The solution is hypotonic.
