1 Tablet of Esberitox® Compact tablets for colds contains 16 mg dry extract (4-9:1) from a mixture of dyer's legumes, purple coneflower root, pale-colored coneflower root and arborvitae tips and leaves (4.92:1.85:1.85:1).The extractant is ethanol 30% (V/V).

Other components of Esberitox® Compact tablets for colds are mannitol (Ph. Eur.), Betadex, lemon aroma, glycerol dihehenate (Ph. Eur.), magnesium distearate (Ph. Eur.), citric acid monohydrate and saccharin sodium.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, this product should not be used.This preparation must also not be taken in the case of protracted systemic diseases, sarcoidosis, autoimmune diseases, collagen vascular diseases, acquired immune deficiency syndromes, immunosuppressive therapy, diseases of the white blood cell system or existing agranulocytosis.It is not recommended to take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Dosage

Recommended use of Esberitox® Compact tablets for colds: Adults and young people aged 12 and over can take one tablet three times a day.The tablets can be swallowed with sufficient liquid or chewed without liquid.It should be taken at the first sign of a cold and in addition to other cold medicines.

Intake

Please take the preparation morning, afternoon and evening with sufficient liquid, preferably 1 glass of water.The tablets can also be chewed.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when taking the medication if the symptoms become more severe or do not improve after a week, if shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum occurs.In these cases, a doctor should be consulted.This medicine is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.Appropriate tablets with lower potency are available for children.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Pregnancy

Since the safety of using the drug during pregnancy has not been proven, you should only take the drug after consulting a doctor.It is not recommended to take it during breastfeeding, as it is not known whether ingredients pass into breast milk and lead to undesirable effects in breastfed babies.
