Information for use of the article CMD Organic coconut oil: Product properties: - Application: For baking, cooking, frying, deep-frying or as a spread. - Coconut oil consists mainly of saturated fatty acids and is a very heat-resistant oil. - It adds a special flavour to dishes and strengthens the immune system. - Coconut oil stimulates the metabolism and is cholesterol-free. - As an exotic massage oil for soothing and relaxing massages. - Traditionally also used in Ayurveda treatments. - Coconut oil is an intensive skin and hair care oil. - It has nourishing, regenerating and skin tightening properties. - Also suitable as a bath oil for extra soft skin. - Coconut oil is also suitable for animal care. - For skin and coat care as well as protection for dogs and cats. - Used externally against ticks, mites or mosquitoes. - For a healthy, species-appropriate diet (contains valuable fatty acids). - For black flies, summer eczema and for protection against insects in horses. - Coconut oil has a rather solid consistency at room temperature and becomes liquid from approx. 25° C. - Quality characteristics of the CMD natural cosmetic organic coconut oil: - Gentle cold pressing - Natural, unhardened and unbleached - Not refined or deodorised - High content of lauric acid and capric acid Source: www.cmd-natur.de (as of 05/2017)
