Allergo-Vision Sine 0.25 mg/ml eye drops are used to treat eye discomfort caused by hay fever. The eye drops contain the active ingredient ketotifen, which is an anti-allergic. The recommended dose for adults, elderly people and children aged 3 years and over is one drop into the affected eye twice a day. The single dose container is sufficient for one drop in both eyes. The drops are placed in the conjunctival sac of the eye while the head is tilted backwards. After dropping, the eye is closed and the fingertip is pressed against the inner corner of the eye to prevent the drops from flowing down the throat. The drops should be used within 4 weeks after opening the container. Allergo-Vision Sine should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the other ingredients. During use, irritation of the eye, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, skin rash and eczema may occur. Pregnant women should consult their doctor before use, while use during breastfeeding is safe. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date. Interactions with other medicines may occur.
