Dekristol 1000 I.E. is a medicinal product containing colecalciferol (vitamin D3) and is used to prevent rickets, osteomalacia and vitamin D deficiency in children, adolescents and adults and for the supportive treatment of osteoporosis in adults. It contains lactose, sucrose and sodium and should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, elevated calcium levels or kidney stones. The dosage and instructions for use vary depending on the age group. The medicine may cause side effects such as increased calcium levels. It should be protected from heat and stored in the dark.
