Cutimed Siltec B is a self-adhesive, highly absorbent foam dressing for the effective treatment of chronic wounds. The dressing consists of a 5 mm thick polyurethane foam with a silicone adhesive edge and is latex-free. The special foam structure allows vertical absorption of wound exudate and the high water vapour permeability supports exudate management. The silicone adhesive edge allows the dressing to adhere securely without secondary fixation. Cutimed Siltec B is suitable for the treatment of chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers and decubitus ulcers, as well as secondary healing wounds such as postoperative wound healing disorders and skin grafts. The duration of application depends on the condition of the wound. The dressing can remain on the wound for up to seven days. The manufacturer of the dressing is BSN medical GmbH.
