Actimaris Wound Gel is a hypertonic, alkaline gel based on seawater and active oxygen. It contains 3% NaCl (Sal Maris) and 0.2% NaOCl. The gel is particularly suitable for cleansing heavily fibrinous or purulent, infected or malodorous wounds and for filling deep defect wounds. It can also be used to rehydrate dry wounds and to treat skin and mucous membrane irritation and inflammation. Actimaris Wound Gel has an anti-inflammatory effect, flushes out wound oedema and eliminates odours due to the optimal interaction of active oxygen, ionised seawater and an alkaline pH value. It has a long duration of use and can be stored without artificial preservatives. The gel is painless to use and is also suitable for sensitive and irritated skin.
