Dobendan® Direct Sugar Free Flurbiprofen 8.75 mg lozenges

Dobendan® Direct Sugar-Free Lozenges contain the active ingredient flurbiprofen.This penetrates deep into the inflamed tissue and has a pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and decongestant effect.The effect begins after around 15 minutes and lasts up to 4 hours.The lozenges are sugar-free, taste like orange and contain no antibiotics.

Areas of application

Dobendan® Direct Sugar-Free Lozenges are used for short-term symptomatic treatment of painful inflammation of the throat mucosa in adults and children aged 12 and over.

Mode of action

The active ingredient flurbiprofen not only relieves the sore throat, but also combats the underlying inflammation of the mucous membranes.This reduces swelling and reduces difficulty swallowing.The lozenges have a quick and long-lasting effect without containing any anesthetic substances.

Active ingredients and ingredients

One tablet contains 8.75 mg flurbiprofen.Other ingredients include macrogol 300, potassium hydroxide, lemon flavor, orange flavor, levomenthol, acesulfame potassium, maltitol solution and isomalt.

Application recommendation

Adults and children over 12 years of age can take one lozenge every 3-6 hours if necessary.The tablet should be allowed to slowly dissolve in the mouth.The maximum daily dose is 5 tablets.The product should not be used for longer than 3 days without medical advice.

Contraindications

The product should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ingredients, if you regularly take ASS 100 mg or are allergic to ASS and related painkillers, if you have known or acute kidney, heart or liver failure, if you have a stomach ulcer or bleeding in the gastrointestinal area, if you have blood clotting disorders, if you are taking other painkillers at the same time, in the first three months of pregnancy and in children under 12 years of age.

Notes

Contains levomenthol, maltitol solution (E965) and isomaltitol (E963).Read the package leaflet.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.Do not use this medicine if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.If you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or are breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.

Patient information

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine if you have ever had asthma or allergies, have sore tonsils or think you have a bacterial sore throat, have an infection, have heart, kidney or liver problems, have had a stroke, have a history of bowel disease, have a chronic autoimmune disease, are elderly as you are more likely to experience side effects, or are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or are breastfeeding.

At the first signs of skin reactions or other signs of an allergic reaction, stop using the lozenges and seek medical attention immediately.Tell your doctor if you have any unusual abdominal symptoms, especially bleeding.Talk to a doctor if you don't feel better, get worse, or develop new symptoms.

The use of medicines like this may be associated with a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke.Any risk is more likely with high doses and longer duration of treatment.Do not exceed the recommended dose or treatment duration.

There are no studies on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines.However, dizziness and blurred vision are possible side effects after taking NSAIDs.Do not drive or use machines if affected.
