Important information about using Ampuwa

Ampuwa must not be administered without additive as it is hypotonic and there is a risk of hemolysis if it enters the body without dissolved substances.Only clear and colorless solutions in undamaged containers should be used.It is important that the solution is isotonic to avoid osmotically induced disturbances.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.Ampuwa has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Application of Ampuwa

This medicine will be given to you as an injection or infusion after making a ready-to-use medicine or for other uses.The dosage and duration of use depend on the information for the medication to be dissolved or diluted.When administering larger quantities of the prepared solution, the electrolyte and water balance must be taken into account.

Side effects and reporting

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.If water for injections is administered intravenously without additives, hemolysis can occur.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

Storage of Ampuwa

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children.You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and the carton.Ampuwa is only intended for one-time withdrawal.
