Xailin Night eye ointment

Xailin Night Eye Ointment is a cream to pale yellow, soft ointment that is easy to spread and moistens the surface of the eye.It improves the tear film and thus relieves burning, painful, irritated and dry eyes.The ointment is used to moisten and protect the eyes for certain eye problems and during or after surgery.No prescription is required for this product.

Xailin Night eye ointment contains white petroleum jelly (57.3% m/m), thick paraffin (42.5% m/m) and wool wax alcohols (0.2% m/m).

Application

Wash your hands before use.Gently pull down the lower eyelid of the affected eye and apply the ointment in a thin line to the inside of the eye.Repeat the process for the other eye if necessary.Repeat this treatment as often as necessary or as directed by your doctor.To avoid contamination, do not touch any surface (including your eye) with the tip of the container.To avoid injury to the eye, the tip of the tube should not come into contact with the eye while using the product.There is no age restriction for using the eye ointment.If you are using other medicines for the eye area at the same time, wait 30 minutes before applying the lubricating eye ointment.Use a clean cloth to wipe excess ointment from the eyelids.

Notes

The ointment is for external use only.Replace the cap after use.Do not use the ointment with contact lenses.Do not share the eye ointment with other people.After use, it may temporarily cause mild burning and/or blurred vision.Wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machines.Excessive use can cause blurred vision, eye infections, irritation and tissue damage.Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the package or stamped on the tube itself.The ointment can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Consult your gynecologist, ophthalmologist, or primary care physician to ensure safety during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and use in children.The ointment is only intended for external use on the eyes and must not be swallowed.Store the product between 1°C and 25°C and discard the contents one month after first opening.Keep the product out of the reach of children and dispose of the used tube in accordance with local disposal regulations.

Contraindications

Do not use the ointment if you are allergic to lanolin alcohols or any of the other ingredients in Xailin Night.Long-term use of wool wax alcohols can cause allergic or hypersensitivity reactions.Longer contact times can lead to irritation of the mucous membranes.
