Xailin Gel - For long-lasting relief from dry eyes

Xailin Gel is an eye gel in a multi-dose system for long-lasting relief from dry eyes.The pack contains 10 g of sterile eye gel.No prescription is required for this product.

The gel is a viscous and hypotonic solution of 0.2% Carbomer 980. It adheres well to the surface of the eye and ensures uniform lubrication of the cornea and conjunctiva.It is used to relieve symptoms such as dryness, discomfort, sandy feeling and mild irritation of dry eyes.

The benefits of Xailin Gel include long-lasting lubrication of the eye, reduction of irritation and burning, and suitability for contact lens wearers.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Xailin Gel contains the following active ingredients and excipients: Carbomer 980 2.0 mg, cetrimide 0.1 mg, sorbitol 40.0 mg, sodium hydroxide 0.84 mg and water for injections.

Area of application

Xailin Gel is used to relieve symptoms such as dryness, discomfort, sandy feeling and mild irritation of dry eyes.

Mode of action

The gel adheres well to the surface of the eye and ensures even moistening of the cornea and conjunctiva.It moisturizes the eye by evenly wetting the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

One drop of the product is instilled into the affected eye(s) 3-4 times daily or as needed, depending on the severity of the discomfort and relief.The duration of treatment can be extended beyond 30 days after consulting a doctor.

Notes

Do not use if tube or safety seal is broken.Do not wear contact lenses when instilling the product.After instillation, allow at least 30 minutes to pass before reinserting the contact lenses.In the case of additional local application to the eye, there should be an interval of at least 5 minutes between the application of the two products, with Carbomer gel being the last product to be instilled.To avoid injury to the eye or contamination of the product, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the tube.After using the tube, carefully put the lid (cap) back on;do not tighten the lid too tightly.Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.For external use only.Mild, transient burning, sticky eyelids and blurred vision have occasionally been reported following instillation of the gel.Keep out of the reach of children.Store below 30°C.Do not use the product after the expiration date or 30 days after first opening.If the problem does not improve within 2 days or worsens at any time, see your doctor.If the problem persists for more than 30 days, see your doctor.

Application

Wash your hands thoroughly before use.Remove the cap from the tube by lifting the tamper evident tab on the cap and peeling off the sleeve.Tilt your head back and pull your lower eyelid down to create a bag.Hold the tube vertically, with the tip facing down, and gently squeeze the tube until a drop forms at the tip of the tube.Place this drop in your eye without touching the tip of the tube to the eye.Blink two to three times to distribute the gel evenly over the eye and wipe away any excess gel from the eyelids.Cap the tube and be careful not to touch the tip of the tube with any surface (including your fingers).
