Instructions for use for FENIHYDROCORT Cream 0.25%, 50 g

FeniHydrocort cream 0.25 % contains the active ingredient hydrocortisone in a concentration of 2.5 mg/g. Hydrocortisone is a synthetically produced glucocorticoid (adrenal cortical hormone) that is suitable for use on the skin. The cream has a triple effect on skin inflammations: It relieves itching, reduces swelling and reduces redness. The active ingredient promotes the production of anti-inflammatory messenger substances and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory messenger substances. This relieves the symptoms of inflamed skin. FeniHydrocort cream can be used for various forms of skin inflammation, such as contact allergies, mild neurodermatitis, eczema, sunburn, inflamed insect bites and sun allergy. The cream should be applied thinly to the affected skin areas and rubbed in gently. It is usually applied 1-2 times a day. If the clinical picture improves, one application a day is usually sufficient. The duration of treatment should not exceed 4 weeks and large-scale application should be avoided. The cream is suitable for adults and children from the age of 6. The package leaflet should be read carefully before use and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions.
